Past Weather Reports
A report prepared by a weather expert
can be use as expert testimony for a variety of cases in litigation,
insurance claims, snowfall disputes or other legal disputes. A
forensic meteorologist can provide you with a reconstruction of
the past weather at your exact location in question. This reconstruction
can be either a weather analysis in letter form or a complete
detailed report that includes an hour-by-hour breakdown of the
weather conditions.
In order to determine what type of
report will best suit your needs, please select the reason the
report is needed from the list below.

About Past Weather Reports
Reports of past weather are frequently
needed to show what the weather conditions were at a time and
location where weather data is not continuously measured. For
example, you may require weather testimony on the weather conditions
at a location that is 5 or 10 miles from the nearest airport,
cooperative observer station or National Weather Service forecast
office. An experienced forensic meteorologist will research all
available weather data surrounding the location and apply meteorological
and scientific reasoning to prepare a certified report of the
weather conditions at a particular date and time.
For all weather analyses or reports,
a price quote will be given to you before we begin any work. If
you would like the weather data used in the report to be certified
for evidence in court by the United States Department of Commerce,
there would be an additional cost that will depend on the amount
and type of data ordered.
